Is PetStay only for cats?
Yes — cats only, always. We built PetStay specifically for cat owners who want a sitter who genuinely understands cats, not a generalist who also walks dogs. Every sitter on our platform is a cat lover first.
How are sitters verified?
Every sitter goes through ID verification, a profile review, and reference checks before being listed. We also offer optional police checks for verified sitters, so you can book with confidence.
Is it free to join the waitlist?
Completely free. No credit card, no commitment. Just your email and a spot in line. Your early-bird perk is locked in the moment you sign up.
Which cities is PetStay launching in?
We're starting in Sydney and expanding to Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and beyond. If you're outside these cities, still sign up — you'll be first in line when we reach your area.
I'm a sitter — how much can I earn?
Sitters set their own rates. Based on typical cat-sitting rates across Australia, most sitters earn between $30–$60 per day. You keep the majority of every booking — we only charge a small platform fee to keep the service running.
What happens when PetStay launches?
You'll get an email the moment we go live with a link to download the app and complete your full registration. Your waitlist perk will be automatically applied to your account.
