PetStay Pty Ltd ("PetStay", "we", "us", "our") operates petstayau.com and the PetStay mobile application. We are an Australian company subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What information we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect:
- Email address — to notify you when PetStay launches
- Your role — whether you are joining as a cat parent or a sitter
- Referral source — which ad or link brought you to our site (e.g. Instagram, TikTok). This is collected automatically from the URL and is used only to understand how well our marketing is working
- Sign-up date and time
We do not collect your name, phone number, address, or payment information at this stage.
How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Send you a confirmation that you have joined the waitlist
- Notify you when PetStay launches and invite you to download the app
- Understand which marketing channels are driving sign-ups (using referral source data, not your personal information)
We will not sell your information, share it with third parties for their marketing purposes, or use it for anything other than what is listed above.
How we store your information
Your information is stored securely in Supabase, a database platform. Supabase servers may be located outside Australia (including the United States). By signing up, you consent to your information being transferred and stored in these locations.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.
Third-party services
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate this website:
- Supabase — database storage for waitlist sign-ups (Privacy Policy)
- Vercel — website hosting and deployment (Privacy Policy)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (Privacy Policy)
- Google Analytics — website traffic analytics, when enabled (Privacy Policy)
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

- Request that we delete your information and remove you from our waitlist
